Then, in September 2022, the internet went wild when Valve published a mysterious new message on its X/Twitter account.

And while it couldn’t be said with certainty that the tweet indicated a release date for the game, it was very likely. And so, a week later, Counter Strike 2 was finally launched..

What Do Players Think About CS2?

It’s been almost a month since the official launch of CS2, so it’s safe to say that by now people have formed opinions about it. In fact, professional gamers had a lot to say about Valve’s new product.

In truth, many people were disappointed with the game. It’s not that it was bad, it’s just that after such a long wait the community expected something significantly better, especially considering how much time Valve spent on beta testing. Are Minimum System Requirements Important?

Since there’s been so much talk about how the move to Source 2 is supposed to mark a whole new chapter in Counter Strike’s history, it’s natural for people to wonder if their computers will be able to handle the new game. After all, it’s been so long since Global Offensive was released, therefore people expect the current minimum system requirements to be out of this world.

Well, that’s not exactly the case.

Keep in mind that while Valve wants to present a much more advanced product, it does not intend to significantly limit the target audience. After all, not everyone can afford a brand new high-tech gaming PC. Therefore, it’s fair to assume that the minimum requirements they’ve outlined will probably be met by almost any computer that has been manufactured in the last few years. And yes, the game won’t run as smoothly on an average study laptop as on a professional MSI, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to enjoy it.

Can You Sell Counter Strike 2 Skins?

If you’re new to the Counter Strike community or have simply been too busy to try out the new game over the past month, you may still have some key questions about its core features. For example, what will happen to all your precious Gloval Offensive skins? Will you still be able to sell them? Well, the answer is luckily: Yes.

Valve has assured from the beginning that players’ valuable inventories will not be affected, and all CS:GO items will be transferred to Source 2, fully automatically and free of charge. What’s more, the developer made sure everyone realized that there would be no changes to the item community. Everything from trading, selling and buying still works pretty much the same, which means you can still profit from the Steam Marketplace.

As you can see, CS2’s system requirements are not as scary as you might think, and as long as you have enough hard disk space and a computer that is not 15 years old, you will probably still be able to play (and enjoy) the game.
