Since Valve introduced skins in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in August 2013, it changed how some people view the game. Even if CS GO skins are purely cosmetic and don’t affect the actual gameplay, the market has become so big that there isn’t a player today that hasn’t got a skin.
Over the years, Valve has released many cases, the latest ones being the CSGO Dreams and Nightmares case.
Keep reading if you want to know which skins are part of the Dreams and Nightmares case; check some of the prices of the skins.
What Is in the Dream and Nightmares Case?
In July 2021, Valve announced a contest for all skin creators, encouraging them to create skins based on a Dreams and Nightmares theme. At first, they planned to pick 10 winners. So 10 skins would be placed in a case, with each chosen creator getting $100,000.
However, by the end of the contest, there were more than 15,000 entries. So Valve upped the prize pool to $1.7 million and selected 17 community-created CSGO skins.
The Dreams and Nightmares case release date was on January 20th, 2022.
Apart from the gun, the Dreams and Nightmares case knives were also added. The loot includes the following knives CS GO:
- Butterfly Knives,
- Huntsman Knives,
- Falchion Knives,
- Shadow Daggers,
- Bowie Knives.
While there are 17 community skins CS GO in this base-grade container, we can’t cover them all. So we decided to pick some of the more popular Dreams and Nightmares case skins.
TOP 5 CS: GO Skins to Drop from Dreams and Nightmares
Before we show you how you can get a hold of the Dreams and Nightmares case CSGO offers, we would like to showcase some of the best skins inside.
5. AK-47 | Nightwish
There were a lot of AK-47 entries in the contest, but the one that Valve picked was the AK-47 Nightwish. All the entries could be seen in the Steam Workshop, and based on many Counter-Strike content creators, the Nightwish wasn’t quite the favorite.
Nevertheless, the skins were selected and can now drop with the case, or you can buy it on the Steam Market. Currently, if you want to get the Nightwish on steam in factory new condition, you can get it for about $180 and about $540 in StatTrak edition.
4. MP9 | Starlight Protector
Right next to the Nightwish is the MP9 Starlight Protector. The majority of skins in the case have a nightmare theme, which is quite a letdown, knowing that many dream-themed skins were left out.
However, the Starlight Protector got through. It can now be yours for around $50 in a Factory New condition on the Steam Market. If you want the StatTrak version, it will cost you about $120.
3. Dual Berettas | Melondrama
The Duel Berettas Melondrama is a classified pistol painted in navy blue with a watermelon in the middle. What makes this skin so unique is the creepy smile the watermelon has, which is why the skin got picked.
Apart from the cases, today, you can get the skin on the Steam market in Factory New condition for around $13, and to get the StatTrak version, you will need to pay about $35.
2. USP-S | Ticket to Hell
White designs over a black base can never go wrong, which is why the USP-S Ticket to Hell is part of the case. In the middle of the pistol, you can see a barcode that, if you can, will take you straight to the Steam page of the creator.
You can get this USP-S skin on the steam market for about $4 in Factory New, and the StatTrak version will only cost you $20.
1. M4A1-S | Night Terror
The M4A1-S Night Terror is one of those CSGO skins with increased value if the skin is in battle-scarred condition. At first, when it was released, players didn’t realize that the skin in Battle-Scarred quality had a darker and more purple look, making it more appealing.
Today, you can get the skin on the steam market for around $3.50 in Factory New, but to get that Battle-Scarred look, you will have to cash up for $5.
How to Get Dreams and Nightmares Case?
There are a few ways players can get their hands on the case:
- From Drops after matchesin official CS GO servers;
- Buy it from the Steam market for about $0.75;
- Get it from CS GO trading sites e.g.
Even though it is the latest case implemented in Counter-strike by Valve, the Community is only opening it for the AK, and MP9. Unfortunately, the possibility they will get the cheapest CSGO knife is also miserably low. Nevertheless, Valve did a fantastic job allowing the Community to enter the contest and submit their work.
As long as the Community gets the chance to showcase its work, we will all end up as winners and get new skins.
