Selling CS2 skins for crypto on SkinCashier
When you sell CS2 skins for crypto here, nobody else is involved: SkinCashier buys the skins itself. You sign in with Steam on Steam's own login page, pick the skins and see the price of each one. Then you accept one trade offer from our bot in the Steam Mobile app.
You can choose Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin and paste your wallet address when you sell, and the payout is sent once the money is released. Or keep the money on your SkinCashier balance and withdraw it later.
Which coins and networks we pay out
- Bitcoin (BTC) on the Bitcoin network. Use an address that starts with 1, 3 or bc1q.
- Ethereum (ETH) on the Ethereum mainnet, sent as native ETH. Use a regular wallet address: we don't send payouts to smart-contract addresses, which some exchanges and web wallets use.
- Litecoin (LTC) on the Litecoin network.
USDT isn't supported. We don't pay out in USDT, ERC-20 tokens or any other token, and we don't send ETH on other networks. Copy the address from your wallet's Receive screen, for the same coin you pick.
How crypto payouts work
You withdraw a dollar amount. When the payout is sent, it's converted to the coin at the exchange rate at that moment, and the network fee (the miner fee, or gas on Ethereum) is taken out of it. The fee listed for each coin is our estimate of that network fee, so the coins you receive can differ a little from the amount shown before you confirm.
Payouts are sent automatically and broadcast to the network. After that, how quickly the coins arrive depends on the blockchain and its confirmations. If the amount is too small to cover the network fee, the payout fails and the money goes back to your SkinCashier balance.
When you get paid for CS2 skins
Steam lets the sender reverse a CS2 trade for 7 days after it's made. That's why we release the money for CS2 items once this trade protection ends. It applies to every CS2 trade on any site, not only ours. If you picked a coin when you sold, the payout is sent to your wallet at that point.
Sell Rust skins for crypto, plus TF2 and Dota 2 items
We pay in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin for Rust skins, TF2 items and Dota 2 items too. These games aren't covered by trade protection, so the money is on your balance right after the trade. CS2 items and items from other games go in separate trades.
Crypto or PayPal?
Crypto suits you if you already use a wallet, or if PayPal doesn't pay out to your country. Keep in mind that coin prices move: if you convert the coins to money later, you can end up with more or less than the dollar amount you withdrew, and your exchange may charge its own fees. If you'd rather get US dollars in an account you already use, sell CS2 skins for PayPal instead.
Who you're selling to
