CSGO New Skins: Full List of Fresh Items

Counter Strike: Global Offensive players are obsessed with cosmetic items, and whenever there is a new drop, or a new update, the whole community stops for a moment. That happened in February of this year, when the Revolution Case first hit the Steam market. For this article, we have prepared for you a full list of the freshest weapon skins added to CSGO. On top of that, we’ll tell you all about the controversy surrounding this particular in-game drop. Go ahead and see what items you can expect, how much they cost, and what makes them so special.

What Is the Revolution Case?

Revolution Case is the latest CS:GO container that was added to the game just over a month ago. The item first dropped on February 9th of 2023, as part of the infamous Case, Capsule, Kit, Oh My! update.

With the last weapon case being the Recoil Case, players were extremely excited about the arrival of the Revolution Case. As soon as Valve announced it, community members were eager to learn more about its contents. Soon it was revealed that the case would include 17 new weapon skins and one special item – the Clutch Gloves.

How Can You Obtain the Revolution Case?

The primary and most affordable way to get new cases in CS GO is to simply play the game. Containers can be obtained through random drops, but truth be told, the chances of this happening are relatively low. You’d have to spend a tremendous amount of hours playing Counter Strike to at least expect a drop. And even if that happens, the odds of getting exactly the case you want are still – extremely low.

Another not-so-budget-friendly option is to purchase the Revolution Case on the Steam Community Market. Unfortunately, the prices of new items are usually extremely high, especially at the very beginning. This is mainly due to their popularity and high demand. However, you might want to take a look at some third-party trading sites, such as SkinsMonkey. You never know. Perhaps some players are already ready to barter one of these fresh items.

What Was the Controversial Skin from the Revolution Case?

One of the skins added alongside the Revolution Case was actually part of a pretty big controversy. Two weeks after the container’s initial release, the developers decided to remove it from the market. The reason for this was similar to what happened with the M4A4 Howl.

Doodle Lore, a pink-colored AWP skin that featured a cartoonish, colorful dragon depiction, was one of the most expensive skins within the entire collection. The Factory New version cost as much as $290 and proved to be a hit among gamers. Unfortunately, it soon became apparent that the skin’s design was actually stolen from its author. The original creator quickly took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with Valve Corporation, and shortly thereafter filed an official DMCA complaint. The item momentarily disappeared from the marketplace, and in addition, was also removed from all Steam inventories.
